- Abstract (latvian):
- Pirmā tramvaja līnija Latvijas teritorijā bijusi zirgu tramvaja līnija jeb trulītis Ikšķile - Baldone, jo Ikšķiles dzelzceļa stacija sākusi darbu 1863. gadā un neilgi pēc tam izbūvēts tramvajs satiksmei ar Baldones kūrortu. No 1863. līdz 1915. gadam starp Baldoni un Ikšķili kursējis diližanss, bet tramvaja satiksmei izmantota šaursliežu dzelzceļa līnija, kuru (kopā ar pārceltuvi pār Daugavu) 1916. gadā kara vajadzībām uzbūvējusi vācu armija.
