Abstract (latvian):

Aktieris, režisors Voldemārs Cauka (1912-1977) attēlā pa kreisi, mācoties Latvju dramatiskos kursos Rīgā. V. Cauka beidzis Gulbenes komercskolu, mācījies Latvju dramatiskajos kursos, beidzis Latviešu aktieru arodbiedrības teātra skolu (1939.g.). Piedalījies Strādnieku teātra izrādēs. Dailes teātra aktieris (1939.g. - 1941.g.). Politisku iemeslu dēļ bijis ieslodzījumā soda nometnē Kazahstānā (1949.g. - 1956.g.). Pēc atgriešanās Latvijā bijis režisors pašdarbības ansamblī Rīgā. 60-to gadu beigās pārcēlies uz Gulbeni, arī tur darbojies Gulbenes kultūras namā amatieru teātrī par režisoru.
