Aizvien lielāku popularitāti iegūst jaunās `Tīmekļa 2.0` tehnoloģijas, kuras tiek izmantotas dažādās jomās - reklāmā, tirdzniecībā, mediju vidē un nu arī bibliotēkās. Visā pasaulē aktuāla ir bibliotēku attīstība, balstoties uz šīm jaunajām iespējām. Tās kļūst par `Bibliotēku 2.0`. Latvijas bibliotēku vidē šis jautājums ir maz pētīts. Pētījuma mērķis bija apzināt esošo situāciju Latvijas AZSB vidē, noskaidrot kāda ir bibliotekāru attieksme pret
dažādām `Tīmekļa 2.0` sniegtajām iespējām, kādas ir to prasmes un gatavība tās izmantot. Tāpat tika apzināta lietotāju attieksme pret bibliotēku un noskaidrotas tās
tehnoloģijas, kuras tie labprāt izmantotu bibliotēku vidē. Pētījuma rezultātā ir apzināta esošā situācija un izstrādāti ieteikumi, kā veidot un attīstīt Latvijas AZSB vidi.
Abstract (english):
Web 2.0 technologies are becoming ever more popular and being used in different areas, such as advertising, trade, the media and also libraries. Current library
developments throughout the world are based on the new opportunities provided by Web 2.0 and they are known as Library 2.0. The aim of this research was to explore the current situation in academic, research and special libraries in Latvia, to discover the attitude of their librarians to Web 2.0, and to find out if they have the skills and competence to use it. User attitudes to their libraries were also studied, together with the ICT services that
they preferred. The results of the research lead to recommendations on the development of academic, research and special libraries in Latvia.
