Salacas labajā krastā aiz Mazsalacas vidusskolas ir 300 metru gara 20 metru augsta krauja - Neļķu klintis. Klinšu sākumā atrodas Mazsalacas Velna ala - 16 metrus gara , 3,4 m plata un 1,2 m augsta ala ar paplašinātu telpu. Tā ir bijusi kulta vieta. Kopš 1967. gada ala ir arheoloģijas piemineklis
