- Lorupe ir Gaujas kreisā pieteka Rīgas rajona Siguldas novadā. Upes garums ir 11 km, baseins – 23 kvadrātkilometri. Upe iztek no Ummuru ezera (97 m virs jūras līmeņa). Lorupes grava ir ainaviski iezīmīga vieta netālu no Siguldas, dabas robeža starp smiltāju līdzenumu un morēnu pauguraini. To šķērso Rīgas – Valmieras dzelzceļa līnija un Vidzemes šoseja, upi augštecē - Siguldas–Allažu un Siguldas–Mālpils ceļš.
