Abstract (latvian):: Pirmais jauno mediju kultūrai veltītais festivāls "Māksla+komunikācijas" notika Rīgā 1996. gadā, ko organizēja E-LAB. Tā ietvaros notika starptautiska konference par topošās informācijas sabiedrības sociālajiem un kultūras aspektiem un oficiāla Elektroniskās mākslas un mediju centra E-LAB atklāšana.
