Abstract (latvian):

Guntas Bētas promocijas darbs pedagoģijā, pieaugušo pedagoģijas apakšnozarē „Māsu profesionālā lietpratība pacientu izglītošanas procesā” izstrādāts Liepājas Universitātes Izglītības zinātņu institūtā Dr.paed., prof. Anitas Līdakas vadībā laika posmā no 2011. gada septembra līdz 2016. gada augustam. Promocijas darba mērķis: Izpētīt māsu profesionālo lietpratību pacientu izglītošanas procesā, aktualizējot procesa realizētāju izpratni par pedagoģiskās darbības komponentiem un to nodrošināšanu. Promocijas darba apjoms ir 163 lpp. un 19 pielikumi. Pētījuma 1. daļā veikta teorētiskā analīze par pacientu izglītošanas aspektiem, kuru kontekstā tiek analizēta tiesiskā un normatīvā bāze māsu profesionālās darbības īstenošanai, raksturojot pacientu izglītošanas procesu. Darbā tiek apzināti pacientu izglītošanas procesu ietekmējošie faktori, kā arī tiek atklāta un raksturota profesionāli lietpratīgas pacientu izglītošanas būtība. Pētījuma 2. daļā veikts māsu profesionālas lietpratības izvērtējums pacientu izglītošanas procesā, veicot fona pētījumus māsu un studentu izlasēs, kuri atklāj formālās un profesionālās tālākizglītības, starppersonu mijiedarbības, pedagoģiskā procesa realizācijas aspektus. Pamatpētījumā noskaidroti māsu, studentu, topošo absolventu un pacientu viedokļi par daudzpusīgiem pacientu izglītošanas aspektiem. Balstoties uz teorētisko atziņu analīzi un promocijas darba teorētisko koncepciju, tiek piedāvāts pedagoģiskajā praksē aktualizēt konceptuālu teorētisko atziņu kopums, kas raksturo māsu profesionāli lietpratīgas izglītojošās darbības īstenošanu, definējot: profesionāli lietpratīgas pacientu izglītošanas jēdzienu, atspoguļojot māsu izglītojošās darbības un pacientu izglītošanās procesa mijsakarības, kuru kopums integrējams studiju kursa Pedagoģija apguvē māsām formālā izglītībā, kā arī māsu profesionālajā tālākizglītībā. Promocijas darba nobeigumā sniegti galvenie secinājumi, atbilstoši sākotnēji izvirzītai hipotēzei, izstrādātas tēzes aizstāvēšanai, kas atspoguļo darba zinātnisko un praktisko novitāti.

Abstract (english):

The doctoral thesis by Gunta Bēta in the pedagogy in the subdiscipline of adult pedagogy “Nurses’ Professional Proficiency in the Process of Educating Patients” is elaborated in the Institute of Educational Sciences of Liepaja University under the supervision of Dr.paed., prof. Anita Līdaka during the period from September 2011 to August 2016. Aim of the doctoral thesis: To study the professional proficiency of nurses in patients’ educating process by refreshing the understanding of process implementers about the components of pedagogical activities and provision thereof. Volume of the doctoral thesis is 163 pages and 19 annexes. Theoretical analysis of aspects of patients’ educating is performed in the 1st part of the study in the context whereof the legal and normative base for implementation of nurses’ professional activity is analysed by characterizing the process of educating patients. Factors affecting the process of educating patients are gathered in the thesis and the nature of a professionally proficient education of patients if disclosed and characterized. Evaluation of the professional proficiency of nurses in the process of educating patients is performed in the 2nd part of the study by performing a background research in selected groups of nurses and students which reveal the aspects of formal and professional further education, interpersonal interaction and implementation of the pedagogical process. Opinions of nurses, students, prospective graduates and patients about diverse aspects of educating patients are clarified in the principal study. On the base of the analysis of the theoretical conclusions and the theoretical concept of the doctoral thesis, it is offered to update a conceptual summary of theoretical conclusions in the pedagogical practice that characterize the implementation of a professionally proficient educating activity of nurses by defining: the concept of a professionally proficient patients’ educating and displaying the correlations of nurses’ educative activity and patients’ education process that are to be integrated together in the acquisition of the study course Pedagogy for nurses in formal education and also in the professional further education of nurses. Main conclusions, according to the initial hypothesis, are given at the end of the doctoral thesis. The theses demonstrating the scientific and practical novelty of the doctoral thesis are elaborated for presentation.
