- Bakalaura diplomdarbam tiek veidota laikmetīgās dejas izrādi ar nosaukumu Take me as a present. Izrādē tiek apskatīta mīlestības tēma, īpaši pievēršot uzmanību tās izpratnei mūsdienu cilvēka kultūrā un dzīvē. Iedvesmojoties no semiotiķa Rolāna Barta un psihoanalītiķa Ēriha Fromma grāmatam Mīlas valodas fragmenti1 un Mīlestības māksla2, vēlējos atspoguļot cilvēka attieksmi pret mīlestību, cieņu un rūpēm pret to, kā arī parādīt, kāda tā ir manā izpratnē. Barta darbs devis sākotnējo impulsu runāt par mīlestību un iedvesmojis tieši kustību materiāla un izrādes struktūras veidošanu. Savukārt Fromma idejas palīdzeja formulēt izrādes galveno domu. Viegli ironizējot par mūsdienīga cilvēka vērtībām un prioritātēm, vēlos atklāt to, kas mūsos ir neglīts un pārspīlēts, kā trūkst vai ir ļoti paviršs, neattīstīts un aizmirsts. Piemēram, pastāvošo modes tendenču, diktētā ārējā izskata nozīme, kas tiek pretnostatīta iekšējā satura attīstīšanai un dvēseles kopšanai. Prasmi redzēt un dzirdēt, kā arī aktīvi iesaistīties tajā, kas notiek mums apkārt. Par spēju just līdzi, intereses izrādīšanu vienam pret otru, kā arī spēju iedziļināties un palīdzēt. Izrādē Take me as a present vēlos akcentēt jautājumu par nemateriālām vērtībām, kuras, iespējams, ir kļuvušas pārlieku attālas un nelietderīgas esošam laikmetam un tiek uzskatītas par greznību un nenopietno cilvēku nodarbi3. Izejot no negatīvās pozīcijas, izrādē tiek apzināts, uzsvērts notiekošā reālistiskums, pretstatot kārtējam iedvesmojošam stāstam par mīlestību. Atstājot zāli, gribu lai skatītājam būtu jāpārdomā par to, kāda ir viņa mīlestība. Lai panāktu vēlamo rezultātu, izrādē tiek izmantoti tādi mākslinieciskās izteiksmes līdzekļi kā – īpašs telpas izkārtojums, spilgtie vizuālie tēli un tām attiecīga ķermeņa kustības kvalitāte.
- Abstract (english):
- Contemporary dance piece Take me as a present explores the subject of love, paying particular attention to its understanding in modern human culture and life. Love theme, that appears to be the most discussed topic all over the centuries, still keeps artists attention and proposes inexhaustible field of exploration. Perhaps, it is so much spoken about love, because there is so little of it around. With the growth of technology and rapid acceleration of modern living our culture drowns in alienation and indifference to everything that is around. Inspired by works of Roland Barthes12 and Erich Fromm13 , Take me as a present speaks about ones attitude to love, about care and respect to it, as a most fragile, essential and complex abilities in life. It emphasizes importance of the intangible values, that might have become too remote and useless in contemporary society and are considered as a luxury and redundancy. Entrusting to the human body to portray something so deep, sophisticated and indescribable as love - area where words sometimes simply ends, I propose a work that hopefully will make us a little closer to each other. Work that will encourage the viewer to see himself, his beloved and a complete stranger in a different light. Light that comes out of the closet, from the heart, from within a conscious human soul, which, even if hidden in the deepest depths, is hungry for the true love, impregnanted and jubilant life.
