- Meelis Somelar, the senior specialist at the Authority Data, Collection Development Centre, the National Library of Estonia, introduced conference viewers to the history of RDA implementation, RDA Reference translation, and inclusion of RDA terms into "The Library Dictionary" in the presentation "Challenges of Implementing RDA in the National Library of Estonia". Somelar also acknowledged the difficulties of finding suitable Estonian equivalents for several English terms and the issue of different syntactic rulesets. The presentation provided an overview of the translation process, the challenges encountered, the initial use of the results in Estonia, and an outline of plans regarding the Library's Linked Data.
