- No 30. janvāra līdz 4. februārim Berlīnē notika starptautisks mediju mākslas festivāls 'transmediale.04' ar vadmotīvu “fly utopia” – “lido utopija”. Festivāla programmā - konferencēs, lekcijās, darbnīcās, izstādēs un mākslinieku prezentācijās uzmanība tika pievērsta mūsdienu radošās digitālās kultūras utopiskajam potenciālam. Transmediale.04 testēja sociālās, kulturālās un estētiskās jauno tehnoloģiju dimensijas un pētīja māksliniecisko rezonansi informācijas laikmeta utopijās un distopijās.
- Abstract (english):
- The international media art festival “transmediale.04” with the theme “fly utopia” took place in Berlin from Jan 30th to Feb 4th 2004. The main attention within the festival programme - conferences, lectures, workshops, exhibitions and artists’ presentations, was paid to the utopian potential of the new creative digital culture. “transmediale 04” tested the social, cultural and aesthetic dimensions of the new technologies and examined the artistic resonance to the dystopias and utopias of the information age.
