- Bakalaura darbs „Britu karaliskās ģimenes nozīmīgāko notikumu atspoguļojums britu presē pēdējās trīs desmitgadēs” atspoguļo viedokļu dažādību britu presē attiecībā pret britu karaliskās ģimenes locekļiem un Lielbritānijā esošo monarhu. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir analizēt un salīdzināt viedokļus britu drukātajā un tiešsaistes presē par Lielbritānijas karalieni Elizabeti II, mūžībā aizgājušo princesi Diānu, princi Čārlzu un Kamillu Pārkeri Boulzu, princi Viljamu un Ketrīnu Midltoni, kā arī pašiem jaunākajiem karaliskās ģimenes locekļiem – princi Džordžu un princesi Šarloti. Teorētiskajā daļā bakalaura darba autore ietver britu karaliskās ģimenes nozīmīgāko notikumu izklāstu pēdējās trīs desmitgadēs, kā arī britu preses vispārīgu raksturojumu. Bakalaura darba empīriskajā daļā tiek analizēti raksti no britu drukātajiem un interneta tiešsaistē pieejamajiem laikrakstiem „The Guardian”, „The Daily Telegraph”, „The Daily Mail”, „The Daily Mirror”, „The Observer”, „The Sunday Telegraph”. Tuvāk presē aplūkoti viedokļi par princeses Diānas nāvi 1997.gadā un princeses Diānas nāves desmito gada dienu 2007.gadā, prinča Čārlza un Kamillas Pārkeres Boulzas kāzu dienu 2005.gadā, prinča Viljama un Ketrīnas Midltones karaliskajām kāzām 2011.gādā, karalienes Elizabetes II ‘Dimanta jubileju’ 2012.gadā.
- Abstract (english):
- The bachelor thesis under the title ”The Depiction of the Relevant Events Concerning British Royal Family in British Press over the Last Three Decades” outlines the diversity of viewpoints presented in the British press related to the current British monarch and members of the royal family. It aims at analyzing and contrasting opinions in British printed and online newspapers concerning the reflection of Queen Elizabeth II, Diana, princess of Wales, prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, prince William and Catherine Middleton as well as prince George and princess Charlotte. In the theoretical part the author includes the overwiev of the most relevant events concerning British royal family in the last three decades as well as the characterization of modern British press. For the analysis in the practical part the author has used sources from printed and online newspapers ”The Guardian”, ”The Daily Telegraph”, ”The Daily Mail”, ”The Daily Mirror”, ”The Observer” and ”The Sunday Telegraph”. The issues discussed are various viewpoints about the death of princess Diana, the wedding of prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, the Royal Wedding of prince William and Catherine Middleton and the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II.

- Die vorliegende Bachelor-Arbeit mit dem Titel “Die Darstellung relevanter Ereignisse in der britischen Königsfamilie durch die britsche Presse im Verlauf der zurückliegenden drei Jahrzehnte” offenbart die Vielfältigkeit von Standpunkten der britischen Presse, bezogen auf die heutige britische Monarchin und die Mitglieder der königlichen Familie. Gegenstand der Arbeit ist eine Analyse und Gegenüberstellung von Meinungen in gedruckten und elektronischen Tageszeitungen, die sich auf Betrachtungen von Queen Elizabeth II, Diana, Prinzessin von Wales, Prinz Charles und Camilla Parker Bowles, Prinz William und Catherine Middleton sowie Prinz George und Prinzessin Charlotte beziehen. Im theoretischen Teil fügt die Autorin einen Überblick über die wichtigsten Ereignisse in der königlichen Familie innerhalb der zurückliegenden drei Jahrzehnte sowie eine Charakterisierung der modernen britischen Presse ein. Für die Analyse im praktischen Teil verwendet die Autorin Quellen gedruckter und elektronischer Versionen der Tageszeitungen ”The Guardian”, ”The Daily Telegraph”, ”The Daily Mail”, ”The Daily Mirror”, ”The Observer” und ”The Sunday Telegraph”. Die diskutierten Ausgaben beinhalten vielfältige Meinungen zum Tod von Prinzessin Diana, zur Hochzeit von Prinz Charles und Camilla Parker Bowles, zur königlichen Hochzeit von Prinz William und Catherine Middleton und über das diamantene Thronjubiläum der Königin Elizabeth II.
