Mazie draugi Lupatiņi – Zeķīte, Cimdiņš, Spilventiņš un Lakatiņš – vakarā dodas mazgāties. Viņi uzzina, ka nekāda vannas istabas briesmoņa nav, iepazīstas ar ūdentiņu un ūdenskrānu, atklāj peldēšanas priekus un sacer Kaķim dziesmu par mazgāšanos.

Pirmā filma veiksmīgi uzsāktā seriālā par dzejnieces Ineses Zanderes un mākslinieces Ūnas Laukmanes iztēlē dzimušiem draugiem, kuru piedzīvojumi veidoti neparastā animācijas tehnikā – kolāža no auduma gabaliņiem, pogām, lentītēm un mežģīnēm, piedaloties gandrīz dzīvam Kaķim. Lupatiņi runā īstu bērnu balsīs un arī turpmākajos piedzīvojumos ļauj mazajiem skatītājiem vienkāršā un asprātīgā veidā iepazīties ar pieaugušo pasaules parādībām.

Lupatiņi – Zeķīte, Cimdiņš, Spilventiņš un Lakatiņš - dodas mazgāties, iepazīstas ar ūdentiņu, vannas istabas briesmoni un sacer Kaķim dziesmu par mazgāšanos.

Description (english):

The little Shammie friends – Sockie, Mitten, Pillow and Hankie – go to bathe in the evening. They find out that there is no such thing as a Water Monster in the bathroom, are introduced to water and the tap, discover the joy of swimming and compose a song about bathing for Mr. Cat.

This is the first film in a successful series about a group of friends, born from the imagination of poet Inese Zandere and artist Ūna Laukmane, whose experiences are created in an unusual technique – a collage of pieces of fabric, buttons, ribbons and lace – and with the participation of Mr. Cat, who is practically alive. The Shammies speak in real children\'s voices and their adventures allow younger viewers to acquaint themselves with the grown-up world in a simple and witty way.
