Abstract (latvian):

Maģistra darba pamatā ir projekta "Smiļģa mājas izrādes" izrādes "Pēdējā maltīte" tapšanas process. Iestudējuma pirmizrāde notika 2015. gada 18. maijā Eduarda Smiļģa muzejā, Ertneres zālē. Galvenais mērķis studiju procesā bija apgūt zināšanas par teātra spēles veidiem, iestudēšanas principiem, teorētiskiem konceptiem, apzinot situāciju mūsdienu teātrī kā Latvijā, tā ārpus tās robežām un mēģinot atrast to izteiksmes veidu, kas visprecīzāk atspoguļotu maģistra darba autores šī brīža profesionālās sagatavotības līmeni un integrēto zināšanu kopumu. Izrādi varētu dēvēt par Nāves farsu, balstītu postdramatiskā teātra principos. Teksts tajā nav būtiskākais, tas ir viena no izrādes sastāvdaļām, kas ikvienam dalībniekam reprezentē individuālu pieredzi un ir atšķirīga no citu dalībnieku pieredzes. Kā norāda Vēsma Lēvalde, atšķirībā no psiholoģiskā teātra postdramatiskais teātris pieļauj teatralitāti, kā arī uzrāda centienus nojaukt barjeras starp aktieriem un publiku. Iestudējuma dramaturģijas materiāls tapis speciāli maģistra darba diplomizrādei, to rakstījis Andris Kalnozols pēc Ž. Brijā-Savarēna filozofiskā traktāta "Garšas fizioloģija jeb meditācija ar transcendentālo meditāciju" motīviem.

Abstract (english):

Staging the play „Last meal” at the Theatre Museum of Eduards Smilgis. This stage production is based on a play by Andris Kalnozols who primary wrote his text as a libreto for chamber opera „Last meal” which was based on Z.A.Brillat-Savarin phylosofic work "The Physiology of Taste". In his book, he is not French-centric, but rather points out all the food stuffs from different parts of the world that were enriching the tables in Paris. What he praised was not upper-class aristocratic cooking, but the middle-class and provincial cooking that he loved. As there were complications with musical stuff and organization, this work transformed as a play for 3 actors and dancer. The main idea then was to speak about life and death through eyes of Savarin as a lecture, who know how to enjoy not only food, but life in general. This paper reflects on staging of this play by the author of this work the director Dace Kravale on the Ertnere hall in the Museum of Eduards Smilgis in Riga. It reflects about choosing the right theme, actors, scene and costume designer, musical sounds, video details and projections, light designer for the production. Then about the style of acting and the work with actors and dancer. Then continues about concepts of stage, costume and light design in context with production process. At the end of the paper there are conclusions on what new experience this production was and what new skills it helped to learn about stage directing and work in a dramatic theatre.
