- Mana interese par miegā nosapņotā sapņa fenomenu kā folkloristikas un antropoloģijas izpētes objektu sākusies bakalaura studiju laikā Latvijas Kultūras akadēmijā, kur apguvu apakšprogrammu “Latviešu tradicionālā kultūra un folklora”. Īpašu impulsu pētnieciskajai interesei deva folkloristes un Latviešu folkloras krātuves vadītājas Daces Bulas nolasītais lekciju kurss “Jaunākā metodes folkloristikā”, kas toreiz pirmo reizi sniedza man jaunu skatījumu uz folkloru kā pētniecības objektu un folkloristikas kā zinātnes sniegtajām plašajām iespējām pētīt dažādos kultūrā sastopamos fenomenus. Bakalaura darba “Tradīcijas noturība sapņu interpretācijas” nobeigumā kā vienu no tēmas pētnieciskajām perspektīvām iezīmēju sapņa stāstīšanas komunikatīvos aspektus. Neskatoties uz to, ka sapņa stāstīšana, tai skaitā interpretēšanas prakses, ir palikusi par nemainīgu manas intereses un pētniecības objektu, šajā darbā, kritiski izvērtējot savu līdzšinējo pieredzi sapņa pētniecībā un apzinot teorētisko literatūru, tiecos atrast veidu, kā izprast un raksturot sapņa fenomenu caur tā stāstījumu. Atšķirtībā no bakalaura darba, kurā šo fenomenu skatīju tradīcijas diskursā, maģistra darbā esmu pievērsusies sapņa stāstīšanas izpildījuma brīdim, uzlūkojot to par komunikatīvu notikumu.
- Abstract (english):
- The master thesis ‘Communicative aspects of Dream Narration: Research Methodology and Contextual Analysis’ is an interdisciplinary research. Research tools of two sciences – folkloristics and cultural anthropology – are mainly used in the research; however, several phenomena topical for the study is explained also by using ideas developed in psychology and literary criticism. The empirical part of the research investigates the importance of communicative aspects in dream narration. In order to answer the research question, the goal and three enabling objectives were set. Each chapter is devoted to one of the enabling objectives. The first chapter includes the investigation of the history of the research of dreams and dream narration. The emphasis is placed on the change of the approach cultural anthropology studies dreams as a dream report is perceived as a communicative event. The second chapter presents an insight into the researcher’s previous experience in dream research and summarizes guidelines and methodological approaches topical for the research. ‘The New Anthropology of Dreaming’ is a significant tool that relies on participant observation in which they interact within natural communicative contexts of dream sharing, representation, and interpretation; moreover, focus is placed on studying dream theories and interpretation systems as complex psychodynamic communicative event. The field work is described indicating that the main method of the research is the participant observation and field notes. Whereas, the data are analysed applying the contextual analysis that has derived from folkloristics. The third chapter comprises dream narration that is made on a basis of an especially created contextual analysis schema. Communicative aspects are searched for by describing cultural, functional, and situational contexts of dream reports, thus, revealing their significance in the comprehension of the essence of the phenomenon.
