Izvēlētā bakalaura darba tēma ir Bernāra Marī Koltesa lugas Sallinger tulkojums un
ar to saistītie jautājumi. Luga sarakstīta 1978. gadā pēc franču režisora Bruno Beglēna
(Bruno Boëglin, 1951 – ) pieprasījuma un pirmo reizi iestudēta 1978. gadā Eldorado teātrī
(Le Théâtre de l'Eldorado) Lionā, Francijā. Lugas autors Bernārs Marī Koltess (Bernard-
Marie Koltès, 1948 – 1989) ir franču dramaturgs un režisors. No 1970. gada līdz 1971.
gadam B. M. Koltess Studējis Strasbūras Nacionālā teātra skolas (L'École Supérieure d'Art
Dramatique de Strasbourg) režijas nodaļā, studiju laikā pats sācis rakstīt lugas, kuras
iestudējuši teātra skolas topošie aktieri. B. M. Koltesa lugas ieņem nozīmīgu vietu 20.
gadsimta 80 gadu Francijas dramaturģijā.1 Dramaturgs guvis panākumus jau savas dzīves
laikā, un viņa lugas joprojām ir redzamas uz Francijas skatuvēm.
Tēmas izvēli noteica personīgā interese par B. M. Koltesu un viņa daiļradi, kā arī
vēlme iepazīstināt latviešu publiku ar maz pazīstamo franču dramaturgu.
Abstract (english):
The bachelor thesis “Translation of Bernard-Marie Koltès’ play Sallinger and the
Related Questions” is dedicated to create an accurate translation of the play that maintains
its original features as well as study the issues related to said translation.
The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is dedicated to analysing the key
characteristics of Koltès’ writing such as his use of colloquial language, long monologues,
as well as the influence of the Theatre of the Absurd, his travels and more specifically the
influence of Jerome David Salinger’s work.
The second part concerns the central issues of drama translation, e.g., playability and
speakability and deals with the problems of this particular translation.
The third part is dedicated to the translation from French to Latvian of Bernard-
Marie Koltès’ play Sallinger.
Abstract (french):
Le mémoire “La traduction de la pièce de Bernard-Marie Koltès Sallinger et les
questions liés” est dédié à la création d’une traduction exacte qui conserve les
caractéristiques d'origine, ainsi que l'étude des questions liées à cette traduction.
Le mémoire se compose de trois parties. La première partie est consacrée à l'analyse
des caractéristiques principales de l'écriture koltesienne, tels que l’utilisation de la langue
familière, les monologues longs ainsi que les influences de ses voyages, du théâtre de
l'absurde et l'influence de l'oeuvre de Jérôme David Salinger.
La deuxième partie examine les questions centrales de la traduction théâtrale, par
exemple, la jouabilité et parlabilité et traite des problèmes de cette traduction particulière.
La troisième partie est consacrée à la traduction de la pièce de Bernard-Marie Koltès
Sallinger du français vers le letton.
