- Bakalaura jaunrades darba tēmas „Huana Hosē Mijāsa „Avīžstāstu izlases” tulkojums” izvēle pamatojama ar autores pastiprināto interesi par tulkošanu un plāniem ar šo jomu saistīt arī savu tālāko profesionālo darbību. Autore bakalaura studiju programmas Starptautiskie kultūras sakari Latvija-Spānija laikā jau iepriekš izstrādājusi kursa darbus, kuri tieši saistīti ar spāņu un latviešu valodu un to gramatiku līdzību un atšķirību izpētes, kā „Īpašības vārds spāņu un latviešu valodās: salīdzinošā analīze” un „Artikulu funkcijas spāņu valodā un to atveide latviešu valodā”, tāpēc šī bakalaura darba tēmas izvēle ir mērķtiecīgi plānota, lai autores bakalaura studijas papildinātu un noslēgtu ar programmai atbilstošu praktisku tulkošanas pieredzi starp šīm abām valodām.
- Abstract (english):
- The title of this Bachelor’s thesis is “The translation of Huan Hose Millas’ “Selection of articuentos””. The aim of this thesis is using literature and internet sources to collect the relevant information about the author and the genre articuento, investigate the modern translation methods, to do a practical translation of 30 selected articuentos and do an analysis on the results of this research. The structure of the work consists of four divisions, two subdivisions and an appendix. The first two divisions of the thesis are purely theoretical while the second two divisions are related with practical research and translation. The main part of the information gathered in this thesis is from Spanish and English sources that have been translated and the minor part is from Latvian language. The first division consists of accessible information about Huan Hose Millas’ (Juan José Millás) life, accomplishments in literature and journalism, the basic information about the conditions and influences creating the articuento genre, the analysis and the unique characteristics of the genre. The second division is purely theoretical and is dedicated to explain the dominant modern translation theories and the usage of them in the translation of Huan Hose Millas’ articuentos. The third division is dedicated to explain the main translation problems groups and the solutions encountered in the translation process and to summarize the conclusions. The fourth division contains a practical translation of 30 selected articuentos, and, finally, in the appendix there are Huan Hose Millas’ original texts that have been translated as the practical part.

- El título del trabajo de grado es “Traducción de una selección de Articuentos de Juan José Millás” (“The translation of Huan Hose Millas’ “Selection of articuentos””). El objetivo del trabajo es, usando la bibliografía y las fuentes de Internet, obtener información relevante sobre el autor y el género del “articuento”, investigar los métodos de la teoría de la traducción moderna, realizar una traducción de 30 articuentos seleccionados y analizar los resultados del trabajo. Los primeros dos capítulos contienen información puramente teórica, mientras que los dos siguientes están relacionados con la traducción práctica. La mayor parte de la información bibliográfica procede de fuentes españolas e inglesas, aunque también están presentes estudios en letón. El primer capítulo consiste en la información accesible sobre la vida de Juan José Millás y sus logros en literatura y periodismo, la información básica de las condiciones e influencias de la creación del género ”articuento”, el análisis y las características únicas de este género. El segundo capítulo está dedicado a explicar las teorías dominantes de la metodología moderna de la traducción y su uso en la traducción práctica de los articuentos. El tercer capítulo está dedicado a explicar los grupos de mayores problemas de la traducción, mostrando las soluciones ofrecidas y resumiendo todas las conclusiones. En el cuarto capítulo se puede encontrar la traducción práctica de 30 articuentos de Juan José Millás. El anexo contiene los originales de los articuentos traducidos en este trabajo de fin de grado.
